WARNING FOR LAND AREAS
	A HEAVY RAIN WARNING AND FLASH FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN FORCE FOR ALL OF TONGA LAND AREAS. A STRONG WIND WARNINGS REMAIN IN FORCE FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA LAND AREAS.
SITUATION
	An active trough of low-pressure system lies over the Niuas and it is expected to extend across Tonga this morning to later today. Associated clouds with occasional rain and thunderstorms may affect Tonga today until Tuesday next week.
FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR TONGA
	FOR THE NIUAS: Light to moderate north to northwest winds. Cloudy and overcast with occasional rain, possibly heavy at times with isolated thunderstorms. Possible flooding in low lying areas due to heavy rain. FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA: Moderate to fresh northeast winds, strong at times. Cloudy and overcast with occasional rain and possibly heavy at times with isolated thunderstorms over Vava'u this morning then Ha'apai, Tongatapu and 'Eua later today. Possible flooding in low lying areas due to heavy rain.
OUTLOOK FOR MONDAY
	FOR ALL OF TONGA: Light to moderate north to northwesterly winds, fresh at times. Cloudy and overcast with heavy occasional rain and isolated thunderstorms.

	THE GALE WARNING PREVIOUSLY ENFORCED FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA COASTAL WATERS IS NOW DOWNGRADED TO STRONG WIND WARNING WHILE REMAINS IN FORCE FOR TELE-KI-TONGA AND TELE-KI-TOKELAU COASTAL WATERS. THE HEAVY DAMAGING SWELL PREVIOUSLY ENFORCED FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA IS NOW CANCELLED WHILE REMAIN IN FORCE FOR TELE-KI-TONGA AND TELE-KI-TOKELAU COASTAL WATERS. A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE NIUAS COASTAL WATERS. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN FORCE FOR ALL OF TONGA COASTAL WATERS.
FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR TONGA COASTAL WATERS
	FOR TELE-KI-TONGA AND TELE-KI-TOKELAU COASTAL WATERS: Northeasterly wind 20-30 knots, gusting up to gale force winds 35-40 knots at times. Rough to very rough seas (up to 4.5 metres). A heavy damaging easterly swells (up to 4 metres). Poor visibility due to heavy rain. FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA COASTAL WATERS: Northeasterly wind 15-20 knots, rising up to 25-30 knots at times. Rough to very rough seas (up to 3-4 metres). A moderate easterly swell (up to 2.5-3 metres). Poor visibility due to heavy rain.   FOR THE NIUAS COASTAL WATERS: North to northwest winds 10-15 knots, rising up to 20-25 knots at times especially the areas of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Moderate to rough seas (up to 2.5-3 metres). A moderate easterly swell (up to 2.5 metres). Poor visibility due to heavy rain.
