| FOR THE NIUAS: Light to moderate north to northwest winds. Cloudy and overcast with occasional rain, possibly heavy at times with isolated thunderstorms. Possible flooding in low lying areas due to heavy rain. FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA: Moderate to fresh northeast winds, strong at times. Cloudy and overcast with occasional rain and possibly heavy at times with isolated thunderstorms over Vava'u this morning then Ha'apai, Tongatapu and 'Eua later today. A STRONG WIND WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE NIUAS COASTAL WATERS. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN FORCE FOR ALL OF TONGA COASTAL WATERS. |

A heavy damaging easterly swells (up to 4 metres). Poor visibility due to heavy rain. FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA COASTAL WATERS: Northeasterly wind 15-20 knots, rising up to 25-30 knots at times. Rough to very rough seas (up to 3-4 metres). A moderate easterly swell (up to 2.5-3 metres). Poor visibility due to heavy rain.
