	A trough of low-pressure lies over the Niuas and to the west of the group. Associated clouds, occasional rain, and isolated thunderstorms, may affect the northern parts today. Meanwhile, an east to southeasterly winds prevails over the central and southern parts of Tonga.
FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TONIGHT FOR TONGA
	FOR THE NIUAS: Light to moderate east to northeasterly winds, fresh at times. Cloudy with occasional rain, possibly heavy at times with isolated thunderstorms. FOR VAVA'U, HA'APAI, TONGATAPU AND 'EUA: Light to moderate east to southeasterly winds, fresh at times. Cloudy periods with developing scattered showers in the afternoon over Vava'u and Ha'apai, could be heavy at times while elsewhere will be cloudy periods with isolated showers.
