A weak trough remains slow moving to the southwest waters of Tongatapu and 'Eua, expected to bring evening showers over Tongatapu and 'Eua today. Associated with cloudy condition with occasional showers may affects these areas today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, an east to southeasterly wind continues to prevail over Tonga.
FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TOMORROW FOR TONGA
FOR TONGATAPU AND 'EUA
Light to moderate east to southeast winds, fresh at times
Fine then becoming cloudy at times with possible evening showers, can be heavy at times with potential of thunderstorm.

FOR HA'APAI, VAVA'U AND THE NIUAS:
Light to moderate east to southeast winds, fresh at times.
Mainly fine apart from cloudy periods with scattered showers, possibly heavy at times.

Moderate to fresh east to northeast wind, trending northerly winds by the evening.
