A weak trough lies over Ha'apai and it is expected to approach Vava'u later this afternoon bringing cloudy conditions with scattered showers across these areas today and tomorrow. Meanwhile, a ridge of high-pressure extend onto the south of the group directing southeasterly winds across most parts of the group.

Light to moderate southeasterly winds, fresh at times.
Cloudy periods with possible scattered showers. Becoming fine over Ha'apai tomorrow morning.

Mainly fine apart from cloudy periods with few showers. Cooler air temperature at night times.
