	A ridge of high pressure from the far southeast extends onto the southern waters of Tonga, directing an easterly wind flow. Meanwhile, a trough is expected to approach the group from the southwest by Thursday with associated occasional showers of rain with possible heavy falls.
FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TOMORROW FOR TONGA
	FOR THE NIUAS, VAVA'U AND HA'APAI: Light to moderate east to southeasterly winds. Mainly fine today apart cloudy periods with possible scattered showers Niuatoputapu. FOR TONGATAPU AND 'EUA: Light to moderate easterly winds, variable by tomorrow. Generally fine with cloudy periods.

	FOR THE NIUAS, VAVA'U AND HA'APAI: Light to moderate east to southeasterly winds, variable at times.
