The Weather in Tonga

Tonga’s climate is warm, tropical and welcoming. Temperatures are warm all year round and can get hot in the summer, but seldom reach above 35°C (95°F). Trade winds from the SouthEast bring year-long cooling breezes in the late afternoon and early evening. Tropical rains fall from December through February, coinciding with the warmest summer months.

Seasons:

There are 2 seasons, the Summer (Wet Season) and Winter (Dry Season). The summer is known as the wet season for that is when we experience the most rainfall which is from November to April. The winter which is also know as the Dry season which is from May to October has slightly cooler temperature than the summer.

It is also important to note that from the month of November to April is also know as the Cyclone Season for Tonga.
